What They Publish About Pricing
Kasamba’s own kasamba.com root domain is a JavaScript-rendered application that returned only a blank meta description to a static fetch, so a logged-out visitor’s actual displayed rate could not be confirmed one way or the other from outside a browser session. The clearest pricing language we could find at all lives on a marketing landing page, and it describes a model, not a number: “You’ll always pay your Psychic’s by-the-minute rate, multiplied by the exact amount of time you’ve interacted after first free 3 minutes.” No platform-wide per-minute rate or rate range appears on any kasamba.com page we could independently fetch.
The free-minutes mechanic is stated more specifically: “The first 3 minutes of all live sessions are completely free of charge,” repeating “with each new psychic you chat with until you find the best match,” up to “a $50 max value,” with the condition “You will not be charged under 3 minutes.” A separate “Best Psychic Match Guarantee” page repeats the same 3-minute mechanic and notes that for phone specifically, the “policy applies only to the first phone session through the platform.”

Kasamba’s Member Terms and Conditions did fetch directly, and this is the confirmed baseline for its refund policy:
“Kasamba may, at its sole discretion, choose to refund a payment made by a Member in certain limited circumstances.”

The same Terms state that refund requests must be submitted “within seven days of the session’s end” and that approved refunds are processed “within seven business days.” That’s the entire confirmed policy: discretionary, with a filing window and a processing time, but no stated dollar cap and no stated frequency limit.
Lower-confidence figure — search snippet only, direct fetch returned HTTP 403. A separate, more specific article titled “FAQ: Satisfaction Guarantee” exists at support.kasamba.com. We identified the exact URL but could not fetch it directly; per a search-engine snippet of that same platform page, it describes “up to $50 in platform credits” for a first paid session with a new advisor, claimable “within 7 days,” usable “once every 30 days,” as “account credits only” with no cash refund. Because this could not be independently re-fetched and rendered, we treat it with one notch less confidence than the Terms and Conditions text above, and it is not the basis for this review’s Refund & Guarantee score.
How They Say They Vet Readers
This is where Kasamba’s published record is thinnest. No specific screening, testing, or interview description appears on any kasamba.com page we could fetch. The advisor-recruitment pages state only that applicants should “download the Kasamba Advisor App and submit your application,” describe the role as “an independent contractor opportunity,” and note that “Registration costs just $50.” There is no interview language, no test-reading language, and no background-check language on the pages retrieved — a genuinely vague standard, by the platform’s own published words, next to Psychic Source’s five-step pipeline or California Psychics’ confirmed background checks.
A third-party aggregator claims Kasamba’s per-minute rates “range from about $1.99/min to $30-40/min depending on advisor tier” — we did not independently verify this and it is not treated as fact anywhere in this review’s scoring; it’s noted only because it’s the closest thing to a number we came across anywhere.
What They Don’t Disclose
This is the most substantial section of this review, because Kasamba’s own site is genuinely the hardest of the six to source from the outside:
- Any fixed, platform-wide per-minute rate or rate range visible without opening an individual advisor’s profile.
- Any interview, test-reading, or background-check description for advisor applicants — only a registration fee is stated.
- An exact founding year — the (partially rendered) homepage claims “Over 20 Years of Helping People Get Real Answers!” without a specific date.
- Confirmed mobile-app existence or links — not found on any page that could be fetched.
- Published support hours.
- Whether reader sort order in its marketplace reflects paid placement.
A documented cross-platform fact, reported without an ownership claim: Kasamba’s Terms page gives its registered address as “182 Howard St UNIT 826, San Francisco, CA 94105.” That is the identical San Francisco street address independently found on Purple Garden’s own Terms of Use page and, per a search snippet, on Keen’s own User Agreement page. None of the three platforms’ pages we retrieved states an ownership relationship between the brands, so we are not asserting one — we’re reporting the address match because it’s a directly-sourced fact worth knowing before you compare the three side by side.
Who It Suits / Who Should Skip It
Kasamba’s published pages suit someone who already has a specific advisor in mind and just needs a payment mechanism — the 3-free-minutes-per-advisor offer is genuinely clear. It’s a poor fit for anyone trying to comparison-shop before committing: there’s no visible platform-wide rate, no disclosed vetting process beyond a registration fee, and the richer version of its own refund policy isn’t independently checkable from outside a browser session.
